Newport and Jamestown are Rhode Island's islands.
Newport was established in 1639 as a busy port town. It is now a popular walkable tourist destination with a bustling harbor front along Thames Street, and more goings on if you venture up to Broadway, Bellevue Avenue and Spring Street. Some notable spots to explore: Bowen's Wharf, Fort Adams, Cliff Walk, "The Mansions." On quaint Jamestown: Fort Whetherill, Beavertail Light
Sailing
We bought a sailboat! In fact as we write this, we are 6 days to closing. We would love to host as many of you as possible aboard our America's Cup 12 Meter class yacht, Heritage. We will have 4 seats available on any sail for our wedding guests- please contact us directly.
