We met virtually 5 years ago. Life took us in different directions but we stayed friends. We reconnected in 2019 and eventually, Shivam insisted on visiting Sadana in Boston. Our first date was supposed to be a quick brunch, and ended up lasting all day. It was complete with a walk through the Boston Commons and Public Gardens, pit stops at Sadana's favorite watering holes along the way, a Puerto Rican festival - where Shivam won his first gift to Sadana - and meeting good friends who vouched for Shivam's general steeze ("thank you, Matt and Andrea" - Shivam)

After two years of copious phone calls and video chats to keep our long distance relationship afloat, a year of graduate school, multiple moves, new jobs, and a pandemic.... He proposed at the beautiful Bluemont Vineyards in Virginia <3 ("10/10 would recommend" - Sadana) On August 14th, 2021, Sadana committed to a lifetime of laughter with the perfect guy. Shivam committed to a lifetime of making sure Sadana doesn't fall while trying to do something fun (pictured below).
