We're getting married!

Shiva and De'Antoine first met on a night out in June of 2010. Little did they know that their mutual friends dragging them out would not only be such a memorable and fun evening, but the beginning of their love story. They built their relationship during that summer but unfortunately Shiva received a job offer in Palo Alto and moved shortly after. Throughout the years of running into each other on random occassions, they connected again in December of 2020. A couple days later, De'Antoine "slid in the Dms" and asked her out. They went on their first official date New Years day and have been inseparable ever since! Shiva and De'Antoine like to think that God's timing is always perfect and that everything happens as he wills. Shortly after reconnecting, Covid hit and everything began to shut down. They spent every day together which blossomed into effortless love. It was clear they had something special. De'Antoine asked Shiva to officially be his girlfriend (even though she had already claimed it), on February 11, 2020. That Christmas he gifted her with a precious fur baby they named Leeloo. Fast forward to two years later, he shocked her with a birthday proposal on a Yacht...It was perfect and of course, she said YES! The couple can not wait to commence their union in the presence of loved ones and continue making memories together. How and when did you know that Shiva was the one? I always knew! It was a feeling from the moment we met and my heart would jump out of my chest everytime I saw her. How and when did you know De'Antoine was the one? I remember the exact moment. He had planned an amazing, fun filled day for us but unfortunately, it didn't end as well as it started. I became really sick after our last stop at UOB and asked to go home. He had just made it back to his place when I called him and he immediately headed back with medicine and other goods to help make me feel better. He stayed with me the whole time and took care of me. I don't think in that moment he realized the magnitude of his actions. Shortly after, I remember looking at him and imagining us on our wedding day and becoming so emotional. This had never happened for me and in THAT MOMENT, I knew he was the one.
