We are excited to finally be able to invite you to our wedding day. At our age, people were starting to wonder if this day will ever come.. But it is finally here and it will be our honour if you could celebrate with us.
A long, long time ago....there was this boy who started working at a restaurant. A young girl also decided to work there with her brother. This boy and girl met and both of them were very interested but they were still so young and... well anyway they went on a get-together and then their short but precious story ended... Life went on… 17 years later this boy, we will call him Eddie, now a very handsome man walked into Bosvelder all with his “don’t give a darn” attitude, and saw this now an older woman, we will call her An-Lie, drinking her hoity toity tea. He greeted her with an amazing smile and sweet hello. A couple of words were exchanged and after An-Lie tried to get rid of his annoying friend, the night came to end with no luck in sight.... but a couple of days later, An-Lie got a message from Eddie... it was agreed that they could go for a drink and after long discussions of not dating and not interested in relationships... you are invited to our wedding. SHIT JUST GOT REAL!!
When I got a phone call on the afternoon of the 13th March 2020, I was politely told to get dressed and that he was on his way to pick me up. At first, I was not in the mood but was told I did not have a choice. We got in the car and we started driving and every time I asked where we were going I was told nowhere... So the guessing started and the games began... at this time, we had just bought a new home and it was either we were going there or to my dad's house which is in the same direction.. when we went over the robot and not left I knew I was right and that we were going to the new house. When we got there I could not understand why we had to drive all the way there as we did not have anything to do at the house... but to my surprise, it was the best car ride ever... When we walked into the kitchen there was a flower, a welcome home sign, and a little note... He had planned a "skatte jag" throughout the house. When we finally got to the main bedroom, there were balloons and fairy lights and a big box... In the box, there was a puzzle he had made for me, of us with a story about the past and the future... So here we are sitting on the floor building a puzzle when he asked if there is anything else in the box and I pulled out a ring box with no ring but a pull-out sentence asking me to marry him. He then and there, sitting on the floor, pulled out the ring, and popped the questions. He is convinced I have not yet given him an answer yet, but I am convinced I said yes through the tears...
