Actually, yes! We've included your little ones in your invitations. Please confirm their attendance in your RSVP so we can understand the quantities needed to accommodate them.
This will be an all outdoor wedding. In the chance of rain, we will be moving indoors. There will be shade and items for cooling as we expect warm temperatures in the early evening (70-80s).
The summer weather in Los Altos is hot during the day and cool at night. There is typically a cool breeze throughout the day so that should provide a bit of relief from the dry hot air. Because it cools during the night, we recommend a light jacket or cover. Sunscreen and sunglasses are advised during the day!
We'll be having a full vegetarian/vegan menu and appetizers. We will not be having any type of meat or seafood dishes or appetizers. The menu will still contain eggs and dairy. Some dishes may contain meat alternatives (tofu or seitan).
No. Please refrain from bringing outside alcohol or food, unless it is specifically for your child(ren) and their needs.
For this event, please wear Garden Attire. Men: Wear suits or button downs in lighter or muted hues. Women: Wear sundresses, midi or floor length dresses (floral prints are okay). Please avoid wearing gold, white, ivory, red or dark green, as these are the wedding colors. Those in thin-strapped dresses or tops, please ensure your shoulders can be covered, out of respect for the monks attending. Wide silk or linen scarves are acceptable for coverage. Additionally, the cocktail reception will be on gravel, so wear shoes accordingly.
