We're getting married!

how the story of us began...

We had our first date on a lovely Sunday afternoon in March 2018, at Huntington Beach. What was supposed to be a simple coffee date quickly evolved into a 5 hour restaurant hopping adventure on Main Street, followed by a stroll along the beach. And here we are...

It all started with Ricardo telling Shirin, "babe, on Saturday let's go to the beach to watch the sunset and eat pizza." What??? And so the story goes...we walked down the long stair-case at Victoria Beach, across the beach to a sand dune facing the ocean. There, a man dressed in all white "accidentally" bumped into Shirin...took a step back and began singing our love song, “Caruso”. At the end of a beautiful performance, Rick got down on one knee and popped the question! To top that off, my parents and closest family members were all there to witness the proposal—Mi amore!
