A peak at what's to come...

Hien and Shira were both scheduled to have dinner with a mutual friend. Unbeknownst to them, their friend accidentally double-booked them and both showed up for dinner. Hien knew right away Shira was someone special. They quickly started spending a lot of time together, and what started as a fast friendship evolved into something much more.

Hien and Shira were at a champagne hot springs for a weekend getaway in wine country. They went on a quick hike to a vista point where Hien intended to propose. At the top, Hien quickly realized that the resort was next to a gun range!! Waiting for the gunfire to subside, Hien awkwardly walked them around the top of the hill, pointing to random areas and saying "let's check that out!" praying for the gunfire to cease. Finally, the gunfire stopped and Hien walked them back to the middle. Looking out at the view and enjoying the quiet, Shira said "What a perfect moment." Opportunity dropped into his lap, and Hien said "Well, now that you mention it..." and got down on one knee. And the rest is history!
