What to Wear to our Reception

Answer

"Cocktail Party Attire": party dresses (any length), jumpsuits, sport jackets, a button down with dress pants... whatever party clothes you like! Anything colorful, summery, semi-formal, and comfortable to dance in. If you're not sure, feel free to reach out. You can't go wrong!

A "Reception Only" Celebration

Answer

This celebration will not include a traditional wedding ceremony. We are having our wedding ceremony on Friday, August 1st with only our immediate family in Washington State. This celebration is a wedding reception. It will have wedding cake, (brief) speeches, a wedding dress, dinner, drinks, a big hora, and all the other good fun stuff that amazing weddings have. We just are doing the first part, where we officially say "I do", a little more intimately. However, we will be sure to share photos and videos from our mountain micro-wedding at our reception on August 9th!

Getting to the Party

Answer

While there is ample side street parking on Leland, and paid street parking on Clark, we highly recommend taking either public transportation (Clark Bus #22, 15 minute walk from Wilson red line L) or Ubers. There are always plenty of Uber/Lyfts available both earlier in the evening and late night in Andersonville!

What is the timing/schedule of the party?

Please arrive at 6:30pm to enjoy cocktails and appetizers. Our night will have a buffet dinner, an open bar, hours of live music, dancing, and more! While there is no "after party" location, Carol's is open for us all night and we'll stay to celebrate as long as you'll party with us!

Accessibiltiy

Answer

Carol's is first and foremost a fantastic dive bar, and we will have tables set up during dinner. However, due to the space, tables will be pushed aside to make room for dancing and there may be limited seating. If you need any accomodations to make this space more physically accessible for you, please reach out to us and we will can arrange for it. We will have outdoor seating available and some seating away from the stage/band as well. Please reach out with any concerns or questions- we can't wait to celebrate with you!
