Where should I stay?

Answer

Please stay at Alderbrook Resort & Spa. There are room blocks at the resort & have a minimum room requirement for the wedding. Please help us save some money by staying at the resort! Reservation can be made by calling (360) 898-2145. Please inform your guests to ask for the Shipman & Hardesty Wedding. Once your required block has been filled, any guests calling for reservations will be subject to space availability and the prevailing hotel rate.

How do I get there?

Answer

You will need to drive approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Seattle airport. Carpooling encouraged! There are multiple routes. One of them includes taking a ferry ! Address: 10 E Alderbrook Dr, Union, WA 98592

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! Please note on your RSVP during the meal selection if you have dietary issues. We can accommodate GF/vegetarian/Vegan. Please let me know if there are special circumstances and contact me directly!

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

No, special individual circumstances can be accommodated. Please contact me individually. There is an option for onsite child care. Please call Alderbrook Resort for more details.

Are there day before (08/28/26) activities?

Answer

Yes! If you arriving Friday you may check in and explore the grounds! We will offer guests an hour long boat ride with a cash bar. More details, closer to the date! The wedding g party will join with the guests later that evening. Please enjoy dinner at the resort restaurant or at local restaurants. I highly recommend making reservations!

Semi - formal to formal. Dress to impress! You should feel as good as you are on the inside :)
