We’re tying the knot!

Our love story began over a decade ago. We first crossed paths briefly in our early twenties, just a fleeting moment, unaware that life (and a few mutual friends) would one day bring us back to each other. In the years that followed, we each followed our own journey. Tony earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Fort Valley State University, while Shinice received her bachelor’s degree from the University of West Georgia. We each built our own lives and careers, growing individually and praying that God would one day bless us with someone to love, honor, and cherish in His name. Nearly ten years after our first encounter, we finally went on our official first date and unknowingly stepped into forever. That first date was axe throwing (yes, really!), where we shared laughs, learned more about one another, and discovered just how deeply aligned our values and goals were. We didn’t want to wait long to see each other again with our second date following just a few days later. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. Through our relationship, we’ve grown individually and as a couple. We challenge each other, support each other, and constantly find reasons to laugh (and debate, just a little). After 13 months of love, laughter, growth, and prayer, on March 23, 2025, Tony asked Shinice to be his wife and she said yes! We are beyond excited to start this next chapter of life together. We thank God for answering our prayers and guiding our hearts toward one another. We’re deeply grateful for our families, who have supported us with love and encouragement every step of the way. And most of all, we thank each other for choosing love every single day!
