This was a shoot-or-be-shot relationship. Meaning she was the girl who was handing out shots, and he was the guy who loved to shoot. In the beginning, the only thing that happened was him getting shot down as he gave her his phone number, and she never called him. Fortunately for her, fate had other plans as they would meet once again in the exact same place at the exact same time two weeks later. The quote that won the day was "You never called me, give me your number." Her response was, "If you can find time in my busy schedule, I'll go on a date with you." Thinking he would never find time, she was shocked when he called with not one date planned but two on the same day. After scaring her half to death at the movie theater, we went our separate ways and ended the night with an "I'll text you when I get home." That one text message led to a lifetime of I love yous, I'll see you laters, and her favorite come-home bookie butt text messages.
