Yes. There will be an informal ceremony, short and sweet at our house and then we will feast and have a party.
We will be roasting a pig and plan to have lots of options for everyone to go with it: -Cowboy baked beans -Coleslaw -Potato salad bar (make it your own way!) -Kale and fuji apple salad with lemon vinaigrette -Charcuterie and cheese board -Desserts! There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options galore. If you or your plus one needs additional food considerations just let Amy know.
If the weather permits we will spend most of the celebration outside under the trees. A bonfire is planned at sundown. Otherwise we can party inside the house.
Dress code is easy, wear something comfortable that you feel good in. If you want to be fancy go ahead and go for it, just consider high heels + grass can be tricky.
We don't have a registry, don't even worry about it. If you really want to bring something - bring us some of your favorite recipes written down. Food is one of the best expressions of love.
There will be room for cars both in the driveway and on the surrounding streets. Parking is free and allowed overnight.
Adults only and for the sake of our cat's sanity, please do not bring any animals with you.
We will stock up with the classics, but you may have to mix your own. If you've got a great idea for fun cocktail - let us know!
