He took her up to the top of Observatory Point. She climbed the rocks and hills way up high. The lookout was beautiful. The sun was shining. The breeze was nice. She went to the edge and took it all in. He walked up to her with a rock in hand and claimed he found it. She had no idea what was soon to come. She told him it wasn’t a real rock. It was a hide-a-key. She opened it exclaiming someone left a note inside. She unfolded it to read aloud and realized it was in his handwriting. A nervous feeling hit her and she knew why. The note was for her. He told her he loved her and he wanted to spend forever with her. Her heart melted a little. She skimmed the note. Too many things running through her mind to read the words on the page. He nervously waited by her side for a few seconds. He knelt, ring in hand, on the cliffside. “Will you marry me?” Trembling, her tears ran at full force. She couldn’t believe it. She didn’t expect it. Was he serious? She couldn’t stop asking him. He stood and wrapped her in his arms waiting for a response. She said “yes!”
