We're so excited to celebrate this long awaited day with y'all!

Being the gamers we are, we were both part of a group on Xbox consisting of people from our high school. (2013) It started over the summer so it was strictly just communicating in party chats. When school started, this little kid (because if you know Drew, you know how small he was in high school) came up to me and asked if I was "Syke Reign", my Xbox Gamertag. He then introduced himself as his Gamertag, and that was the end of our introduction. Our friend group would hangout in the mornings before class and eventually we exchanged phone numbers to share music interests (other than games, we really bonded over music). From the start we were important to each other, not in a romantic way, but as best friends. We were there for each other for a little over a year through everything: ups, downs, relationships, day, and night. Drew graduated in 2014, and we decided to make it official. It was the same as before, but so much more.

Here we are five years later (2019), at Emerald Isle on a family vacation. What could be more perfect? The sun is starting to set, and we have leftover sparklers from a wedding we went to two weeks prior. Everyone starts lighting them, including me, but it turns out I wasn't supposed to have one. Drew comes up, puts his arm around me and starts walking me towards the center of a circle of people I didn't realize had formed. He says, "This would be a good moment for a proposal, huh?" And I'm sure you can guess what happened after that.
