Both the ceremony and reception will be held on the 40th floor of The Library @ 190 S LaSalle, Chicago, IL.
Please aim to arrive at the venue at 5:15 pm. The ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 pm and there is lots to do in the meantime: you'll arrive on the main floor lobby of 190 S LaSalle [a beautiful location for a quick photo op], find your way to the elevator bank that will take you to the 40th floor for the ceremony, socialize a bit with family and friends... Plus you know how Chicago traffic can be! We'd hate for you to miss this.
Cocktail attire
Absolutely! We have negotiated great rates at hotels in close proximity to our wedding venue and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chicago. The LaSalle Chicago, Autograph Collection Residence Inn Downtown Chicago Room block is secured for Thursday 10/2 - Sunday 10/5. Check out the HOTEL page to view the hotel options and book your rooms. Note: there are a plethora of alternative hotels throughout Chicago, so do not hesitate to look outside of our list for accommodations suitable to your needs.
This depends entirely on your travel preferences. Chicago has two major airports, Ohare International [ORD] to the North and Midway International [MDW] to the South, both accessible to/from the city by uber/lyft or public transportation and equidistant to downtown.
From ORD: you can use uber/lyft or hop on the CTA Blue Line south [Google will let you know which station to exit]. From MDW: you can use uber/lyft or hop on the CTA Orange Line north [Google will let you know which station to exit].
If you plan to drive into the city and park near the venue you should be able to find plenty of self park options [garages, SpotHero, etc]. If you are staying at The LaSalle Hotel you can utilize valet [check with hotel to confirm pricing].
