We're getting married!

Chris and Jill met through a mutual friend in 2012 while studying at Northeastern University in Boston. Often studying in her friend’s dorm room, Jill would run into Chris who would be there to use the Internet and Wi-Fi because Chris was too cheap to purchase his own; Jill should have known then what she was getting herself into! Jill didn’t realize she had gone on her first date until after it was over. Chris had asked her if she wanted to “hang out” and get frozen yogurt. The next thing she knew they were at a restaurant for dinner, after which Chris walked Jill home. “Only when I got back into my apartment did I realize that we had gone on our first date!” After that Jill and Chris hung out nearly every day but they didn’t “officially” start dating until September 6th, 2013. When Jill graduated with a Nursing degree in 2014, she immediately packed her bags and moved to the Washington, D.C. area to launch her career at Children’s National Hospital. She and Chris continued their relationship while Chris completed his Engineering degree back in Boston. In 2015 Chris joined Jill in the Washington, D.C area. After five years of dating, buying a home in Virginia and getting their precious dog, Willow, it finally dawned on Chris that it was “time” and he proposed to Jill on January 1st, 2019. Chris and Jill continue to work hard in their careers. Chris, with Raytheon, has finished his Masters and is now traveling for work. Jill, with Children's National Hospital, has finished her Doctorate. Chris and Jill are very excited to continue their journey by celebrating their future “together” with family and friends on June 18, 2021!
