Our story begins in the summer of 2021 on a float trip with some friends. Although Austin says he had eyes for Erin for a while, it wasn't until that humid day on the river for Erin to wonder if maybe Austin could be more than just a friend (but we both know it was really Austins classy dance moves in a janky dive bar that trip for Erin to really fall head over heels). After two years of friendship, we took the risk. It took a month or so after the float trip before Austin finally made his move and asked Erin out on a date—to Kauffman Stadium, of course, in true Austin fashion. From there, things just clicked. After many more date nights, bike rides around town, and evenings spent cooking and baking in Erin’s kitchen, we made it official on November 28, 2021. Since then, life has been anything but boring—traveling to new places, adopting our first “child” (our cat, Oak), attending many weddings, training for a Tough Mudder and a triathlon, and, most recently, buying our first home. After all that, Austin finally realized he was in this for the long haul—so he got down on one knee and proposed on April 19, 2025, followed by an evening of celebration with friends and family. We can't wait to add a new special date to our story and are so excited for you to be apart of it!
