Let me start by saying, when I met Lee I had no idea he would be the man God sent to me. The first time I met him was really by coincidence. We were both working a model call for the Spring 2015 Philthy Ragz Fashion Show, he was the DJ and I was working. We exchanged numbers and social media handles and that was that for me. After a while, I started to pull up to a few parties he dj'd at and we began to run into each other more frequently. Well in the first week of January 2017 he asked me one of his usual slick questions and I responded. And honestly, since our first date I’ve been drunk in love. Not only did we have the same foundational beliefs, shared friends, LA memories, HBCU memories and similar life goals, we just clicked on every level. Early on, Lee was very clear with his intentions and has always been so bold- traits that I continue to admire. Over the months our lives continued to mesh even experiencing some life changing moments together. The more time we spent, the more we realized our partnership was the very thing we both were looking for. Lee became my person.

It was a warm Spring day in California. I was minding my own business and I saw a friend of mine was having a model call at a local business called Philthy Ragz. I reach out to my friend and ask if I could come DJ while the models audition for me to try out some new routines. While I was there, a spunky tall tenderoni walked in like she owned a joint, and come to find out it was the owner's daughter. We introduced ourselves to each other and we exchanged info and that was the end of that lol. Throughout the years I'd invite her to different events I would DJ in the city and every once in a while she'd pop out. One random day she posted something on Instagram and I said something slick in her DMs and she said something slick and the rest is history. We went on our first date to UnplugLA where I was DJn and we've been rockin N rollin ever since!

In October 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Lee surprised me with a trip to Jamaica for his birthday! I had no idea he had something way bigger up his sleeves. On the day we got engaged, God woke me up early, I was at the beach doing my usual praise and worship and turned around to see Lee waving from the balcony- this man never wakes up early, so I should've known something was up. Lee booked us a Cabana and a surprise engagement shoot (there's a longer version of this story that has many moments of me being duped by almost every staff member at the resort. As I am taking individual photos, Lee runs off and gets the ring. When the photographer motioned me to turn around LEE IS ON ONE KNEE WITH A RING!!! After that moment, I was speechless…. now it is 2022 and I am the future Mrs. Smith.
