Darian and I have been in each other's orbit our whole lives—our families have been connected since way back when his brother and my dad became best friends in the 7th grade. Fast forward to a Christmas reunion when both of us were navigating the stormy seas of divorces we swore we’d never go through again. We joked about never getting married again… well, here we are, happily eating those words!
