What are the chances of getting a message in a bottle and then getting a reply? Very low, most would say. Well, that was how our story started. It began with an expressive thought about quantum, physics and its relation to time. Time on Earth is a human construct but time in the universe is different. I tossed the message into a digital sea. Soon after, a notification popped up: "Is that made up or what you really believe?" That question sparked a conversation. First about quantum physics and then on each other and about human behaviours. So, what are the odds of meeting someone with a shared enthusiasm about knowledge and curiosity about the world around us? Infinitesimal perhaps, but here we are. It started bold with a statement about physics and the concept of time. And now we are building a lifetime together.
Let me just say, getting through the walls I have built for myself requires a lot of patience. Our conversations died after his multiple attempts to meet and my relentless excuses not to. He left me his number and I kept it at a forgotten corner of my endless lists of unfinished notes of my notes app. And then move on. I thought about those odds and about courage to experience life and its changes. What are the odds of someone actually liking my weird brain? So I took a giant leap of faith and have trust in God that He will protect me at all cost. And that was how it happened. The journey between two souls that are now caught in a quantum entanglement. -"A spooky action at a distance." by Albert Einstein
I thought I'd recognized him the first time I see him. But no, he is just as flawed as I am. Tarnished by the superficiality of what life has to offer other than the destiny that each of us had. ~S.H.
