While working at the Bal du Bois, Will's sister, Meg, asked if I would take a photo of the two of them for their well-known #milbygram. Will, several cocktails later, found his way downstairs where I was and began small talk. It was quite endearing yet I brushed him off coyly before returning to work. Luckily, a few days later a handsome gent popped up on Bumble and his photo caught my attention - we both swiped right, and the rest is history.
I hadn't been feeling well all week, and left work early to go home and rest. To my surprise, when I pulled up in front of our house - Will's truck was there! Thinking he was being too sweet and skipping the gym to take care of me, I eagerly rushed inside. As I walked into our living room - Dayquil-filled grocery bags in hand - Will came around the corner and I began to notice the ivory roses on the coffee table, my favorite candle burning and my handsome guy waiting for me (Will, too). He gave me a big hug asking how I was feeling and began a wonderfully sentimental speech about taking care of me. Before I knew it, he was pulling out of my hug, to drop to one knee. Although neither of us are quite sure if I actually said yes, we are so excited and can't wait to start this next chapter of our life together!
