We met the old fashion way...on Facebook. I slid in his inbox congratulating him on his college graduation. He asked me to hang out with him that weekend. I gave him my number, and he didn't call. I was disappointed. I messaged him asking did he rescind my invitation. He apologized stating he was busy with family, but he did call. I never received the phantom call. So, I gave him a chance to call me. He called and we talked for 4.5 hours. We realized we had so much in common. We were neighbors during our childhood. We went to the same elementary and high school. We both have a daughter with the same name. We have mutual friends and never met until 2023. It was fate! As they say the rest is history. He proposed a little over 2 years later in front of friends and family. The journey to forever begins!
