Best Airport Options 1. Orlando International Airport (MCO) This is the largest and most convenient airport for our wedding location, with many domestic flights and rental car options. It’s approximately 45–60 minutes from Haines City depending on traffic, and has the most airline choices and flight times. 2. Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) A smaller airport with fewer flight options, but sometimes offers great fares, especially with certain low-cost carriers. Be sure to check out Allegiant Air, Sun Country Airlines, and Air Transit. It’s about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Haines City by car. 3. Tampa International Airport (TPA) This airport can be a good choice if flights into Orlando are limited. Tampa is a bit farther — approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours away — but worth considering for flexible scheduling or lower fares
At this time, we do not have hotel room blocks reserved. However, because the Orlando area welcomes so many visitors year-round, there are plenty of nearby hotels and accommodations at a range of price points to choose from. We’re confident you’ll be able to find something that fits your needs comfortably.
We kindly ask that you arrive when the doors open at 2:30pm and be seated by 2:50pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. We understand that delays can happen — if you arrive after the procession has started, please wait until after the bride has entered, and an usher will be happy to guide you to your seat.
Semi-Formal For women, think midi or knee-length dresses, cocktail dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or a dressy blouse paired with a skirt or tailored trousers. Choose something that feels polished and special, but still comfortable enough to celebrate and partake in festivities. For men, a suit and tie is perfect, paired with a dress shirt and dress shoes. As a helpful guide, tuxedos are more formal than needed, and we kindly ask that guests skip very casual pieces like jeans, sneakers, polo shirts, or shorts. Because of space and planning considerations, we kindly ask that only the guests (and their children) whose names are listed on your invitation attend. This allows us to create an intimate and thoughtfully planned celebration for everyone joining us.
