When we decided to postpone our wedding back in 2020, the most important thing to us was keeping all of our guests safe and healthy. We wanted to gather and party with all of our loved ones without any worry. We are hopeful that we will be able to do just that in May and carry on as planned. We are planning an indoor reception, however, our guest list is well under 50% of the venue's capacity with plenty of space for distancing. We will update this page if any changes are made. We respectfully ask that those who have not been vaccinated get tested prior to the wedding to ensure a safe event. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you soon!
Seth and Sam met in Algebra II class during their sophomore year of high school, and stared dating a year later when they both began working as servers at the local retirement home. When the time came to graduate high school and move on to college, they both decided to attend Oklahoma State University, where Seth studied chemical engineering and Sam studied nutrition. Seth (with the help of Sam's dad, Jeff) eventually convinced Sam to get a bike, which led to many trips around the country to race, ride, and explore with their friends. Seth proposed in Downtown Stillwater as they celebrated their fifth anniversary in September of 2019. Their original wedding date was set for June 12, 2020, but COVID-19 had other plans. They decided it was best to postpone the celebration, but they did not want to wait any longer to get married. With the help of good friends, Ryan and Miranda, as well as the great folks at District Bicycles, Seth and Sam got married at Keith's Bike Fort in Perkins, Oklahoma, on May 11, 2020. They are incredibly excited to properly celebrate their marriage with all of their loved ones on May 28, 2021.
