Casey and Jorge first met while working at Red Robin (yummm) together during college. He would get annoyed that she would wait impatiently for him to make her bar drinks and milkshakes, but it wasn't her fault he was so slow. They were acquaintances for awhile, and it wasn't until they started hanging out with friends from work that they felt a connection. Casey was graduating and moving out of town to work for a big company, and kept reminding him of this fact, but once they started seeing each other, Jorge wasn't going anywhere. He drove across DFW to see her almost every day and their relationship grew stronger. 2018 was a big year, where the couple decided to both switch career paths. Casey moved back to Denton and with Jorge's support and encouragement, went back to school to pursue a teaching certification. Jorge wrestled with some big life decisions and switched jobs a few times, before deciding to finish a different degree path in business and communications, and pursue his dream of owning his own Chick-Fil-A. On March 1st, 2020, Jorge plotted with Casey's friends for a girls picture day at the Dallas Arboretum. After walking around and taking photos of each other, her friends led Casey to the spot where Jorge walked up behind her and got down on one knee. She was so surprised and of course said yes! Now, Casey is a 2nd grade teacher in Allen, and loves every moment teaching young minds, knowing it couldn't have happened without her new fiance's early on support. Jorge moved up the chain and is the Director of Operations at the Chick-Fil-A in Prosper. They have two cats, Joey and Chloe, and new pup named Lulu. They plan to stay in the DFW area for as long as his work allows, and are hoping to buy their first family home after the wedding. They praise God that they have so much to be thankful for and hope to grow closer to Him in their faith as a married couple.
