It was so easy. We met at Emma’s wedding back in 2024. I had initially been going through a very difficult time, and my mom happened to introduce us to each other right before the reception ended. I found out he worked with my cousin, and I said, “I gotta get his number!” I fell quick. I fell hard. And shockingly enough, we’re marrying each other’s first significant relationship! He was my first boyfriend, and I was his first girlfriend! We hit it off immediately. Our relationship has proven to be ordained by God from the very start. Every day with Zach has proven to be a new venture, one that allows both of us the opportunity to learn how to grow as people and with each other. His proposal touched my heart so deeply. In front of a campfire at Penn York in peak of June, surrounded by people I love in a place I’ve called home since I was a child. One minute I blink, and the next he’s on one knee at 11:30 at night while we’re both sleep deprived from leading teenagers all week! We did not want to wait to get married. We both know what we want, and that’s each other and what God has called us to.
