Sheela and Yuvraj will be wearing Indian clothes for all of the events, reflecting our personalities and relationship. Both of us want our guests to feel comfortable and welcomed in all aspects of the experience, and that extends to clothes. If you have Indian clothes, and you want to wear them, do it! If you want to wear Western, do it! If you want to get Indian clothes, we recommend renting instead of purchasing. Colors to avoid: white and black.
When we invited you, that meant your children were also invited. For your planning, know that the events are going to be hectic and a little loud, and we are serving Indian food at all of the events.
Our theme isn't visual or explicit, but rather a feeling. We are merging families, traditions, and experiences. All we ask is you feel comfortable hanging out with all sides of our families, laugh liberally, and celebrate with us.
We are hosting the wedding in a hotel that is ADA compliant. We will update this page with more information as we come across it.
We will be serving Indian food for all of the events in a buffet style. We will list spice level, common allergies, and vegan/vegetarian status for all items. Please let us know if you have a specific concern.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Yes! Check out our schedule. All guests are invited to all events, unless otherwise noted.
If you want to dance at the sangeet, we are excited to see your performance! No one is expected to dance, but it is a lot of fun and low expectations. Look up sangeet videos and we promise, you'll end up wanting to ham it up.
