Dress Code: What does "Black Tie Optional" mean?

Answer

For the Ladies - Long or Short Dresses (A floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pants suit.) For the Men - Dark Suit or Tux (Option of wearing a tuxedo if you have one, or a formal dark suit, white shirt, and tie.)

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Art Basel is the same weekend as our wedding. These events take place in another part of Miami so we don't expect too much disruption. However for those coming in from out of town - we recommend buying your flights ASAP!

We love your kids but thought you might like a night off. Adults-only please!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer it was just you.

Is the venue called Hotel Aria or Hotel Arya?

Answer

Our venue was recently acquired by a new management company and is in the process of rebranding. The correct name is Hotel Arya, however you may see Hotel Aria used occasionally until the rebrand is complete. (Prior to purchase, this location was the Sonesta Hotel.)
