We are thankful for all of your support but have made the difficult decision to have an immediate family and wedding party-only wedding. This decision was made due to Abbi's recent car accident and surgery. As well as the rise of COVID cases in our state.

Justin's "How We Met"

#HailState

The very first day we both arrived at Mississippi State University for New Maroon Camp we crossed paths. Abbi learned that I like racing and I learned that Abbi likes cows during an icebreaker. On the bus to twin lakes, our paths would cross again during a speed dating icebreaker where Abbi claims "she could not understand a word I said through my thick southern accent." During the camp, we got to know each other but did not stay in contact after returning to campus. We were reacquainted over a Snapchat story hinting to the stressful transition into college that we were both struggling with. With football season approaching, I asked Abbi to accompany me to Cowbell Yell where we sang Hailstate and rang cowbells into the night. Throughout the next month, we swore to our friends that we were "just friends" until I asked Abbi to be my girlfriend on October 11th, 2015. Through four dorms, three apartments, multiple months apart due to internships and family travel, our love grew strong and remains on track 5 years later when we will say "I do" on October 16th, 2021.

Abbi's "How We Met"

On August 3rd the very first night I arrived at Mississippi State University I met a boy who was in my New Maroon Camp group that said he loves racing. We hung out in camp and exchanged contact information but I didn't think much about it until a month later. We were both having a hard time adjusting to the college lifestyle away from home and started bonding over it. Justin would invite me to breakfast with his friends and we would see each other in passing from class to class. He would always stop and say hi and invite me to hang out with his friends because I didn't have too many. Our first official date was Cowbell Yell where we helped break the record for the most cowbells ringing at once. He took me with him and his friends to Bulldog Bash and the football game, and he hosted my first ever tailgate! We spent the next month convincing our friends that we were just friends and nothing more. Justin finally asked me out on October 11, 2015, and we have been together ever since! We have lived in different towns, traveled to random football games together, and taken care of each other. Justin asked me to marry him on May 4th, 2019, with our friends and family to celebrate with us! We are so excited to tie the knot with all of our friends and family!
