Daria: We met coincidentally in the line at a college football game in the fall of 2016. After about 6 months of knowing each other, I finally reached out to him in hopes to see him again. We started dating a few months later in July 2017. Dylan is so outgoing and thoughtful, caring and kind. We have grown extremely close over the years, and have endured many highs and lows together. We go together like peas and carrots. We are truly best friends, and I can’t wait to call him my husband. Dylan: One of my many ECU Football games, this one happened to be different. Standing in this long line, I saw this beautiful blonde headed woman cutting eyes at me. When she grabbed my hand and we skipped the line, I knew she was gonna be a good time. From me working all the time I had to cut back on the ECU trips. Around 6 months later I get a message saying "You cute". Not long after that we went to our first concert together where she was already claiming to be my girlfriend. Since July 2017 we have grown and learned so much from each other. She is the most caring person I know and tries to make everyone happy. Whatever life throws at us we know we can get through it together.
Daria: Our weekend with some of our closest friends slowly turned into the weekend of a lifetime. We began our weekend eating our favorite foods and hanging out. We enjoyed a relaxing day out on the water with our friends, and rode down to Inlet View restaurant (one of our favorite spots) for dinner. Dylan and I were taking a photo (per usual) before walking up to grab a seat. He got down on one knee, and asked me to spend forever with him. While I don't remember much because I was in complete shock and surprise, I just remember looking at him and spoke the easiest "yes" I have ever said. Dylan surprised me with both of our parents and my closest friends to meet us there. I was in complete shock that he had planned this whole entire weekend without me knowing. I cried tears of happiness for about two hours straight. I prayed for this man, and here he was asking me to spend the rest of our lives together. It was truly a magical weekend. Dylan: Trying to plan one of the biggest days of my life was a full on weekend job. Trust me, try to line up 10 girls to get together on one weekend. Finally, we got a set plan and the weekend began. We all kept our composure the whole day on the beach. On the boat ride to Inlet View restaurant I was the most nervous I've ever been. Constantly repeating in my head what I was gonna say over and over. The time had come to take the picture and there I went down on one knee. With the whole world spinning around me I asked my best friend to marry me. I'm very thankful for my friends and family to make this day come true. I couldn't ask for a more perfect person I get to spend the rest of my life with.
