Question

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We encourage you to drive over for the baraat+wedding ceremony. There will be shuttles for the Cocktail Hour/Reception event, so everyone can enjoy the open bar and safely make it home. Shuttles will depart from outside the Sheraton lobby (Hilton is right next door so they will be easily accessible for all guests here as well). Additionally there is plenty of parking at the venue for those who prefer to drive.

What should you wear?

Answer

We would love for our guests to embrace the vibrant fusion of our cultures! The dress code is Formal Attire, and we welcome both Indian and Western formal attire. Wedding Ceremony: Think daytime colors and floor length outfits for womenswear (sarees, kurtas, lehengas, gowns, jumpsuits etc) or suits for menswear (sherwanis, kurtas, suits, etc). Reception: Think Black-tie optional, with an Indowestern theme. All Indian and Western formal wear is welcome. For womenswear consider floor-length gowns, desi-inspired gowns, and all your favorite jewelry. For menswear, you might choose darker or jewel toned suits, tuxedos, jodhpuris, kurta sets, etc.

How should we spend our time between the wedding lunch and cocktail hour?

Answer

After lunch, we invite you to enjoy a leisurely afternoon before celebrations resume at 5:30pm. This is the perfect time to head back to the hotel for some rest, grab a midday coffee nearby, explore the vibrant town of Red Bank, or do a quick (and optional) outfit change between events.
