In 2011, Lauren was a sophomore in high school and John was a freshman in college. One day John and his cousin Derek asked Lauren and her best friend Kim to go sledding on facebook. We all went sledding together and then began hanging out after school all the time. John was super shy and barely spoke to Lauren, he was very quiet when we would hang out. Finally, one day as Lauren and John were saying goodbye, Lauren asked him, “are you going to kiss me or what?”. That was it, John finally kissed her and they never looked back!

Our first christmas together, John bought Lauren a dog, dodger, and that’s all it took for her to realize that he was the one. Before we knew it, we had three dogs and a cat. Lauren had graduated highschool and John graduated college. We purchased our first home and expanded our four - legged family to four dogs and three cats. Our love for eachother has continued to grow these past 11 years. We have built a beautiful life together which has lead to our engagement! Long story short, we were fortunate enough to find our soulmate so early in life. We have grown in so many ways together and as individuals. We are bestfriends, we confide in eachother, we trust eachother and most of all we love eachother unconditionally. We now share a beautiful home with perfect pets and some chickens and ducks. We are excited to officially commit to forever with marriage! Each chapter of our book has been nothing shy of incredible and we are confident this next chapter will bring us even more happiness and love.
