We're Getting Married!

I was invited on a weekend getaway to Chicago with my sister, Lindsey, and her husband, Hunter in the summer of 2021! They had plans to stay with one of Hunter's childhood best friends, Tyler, and since I fly for free, they invited me along. Chicago has always been one of my favorite cities so I was very excited about the trip. Little did I know, there was some behind the scenes planning by Hunter and my invitation was in fact a set up with Tyler. I remember arriving to Chicago and the three of them pulled up to the airport to pick me up. Tyler was the first one out of the car and he loaded up my bags and opened my car door. I knew from that moment that there was something about him. At one point during the weekend, Tyler took us to a Cubs game. While being a part of the infamous "cup snake" was a highlight, the real highlight was going to get a Chicago-Dog with Tyler where he asked me for my phone number. We went on to have one of the best weekends that we all still talk about today! From that weekend forward, Tyler and I talked every single day. We battled long distance, but spent as many weekends as we could either in Chicago or Atlanta. Tyler quickly became my best friend and the person that I knew I wanted to spend forever with. Luckily, he felt the exact same and made the move to Georgia where we happily reside today! We have been blessed with many adventures the past 3 years together, but we are so thrilled to embark on our greatest adventure yet. We look forward to having all of our favorite people help us celebrate us becoming the Dixons!
