Rashad and Sherrie both attended Winton Woods High school in 2002-2003. Rashad was a senior during Sherrie's freshman year. They shared mutual friends but never really hung out. Sherrie admittedly had an innocent crush on Rashad back in high school but they were on two different paths and would have never pursued it. Since Sherrie and Rashad shared mutual friends, they both would often inquire about how the other was doing over the years. On the 4th of July in 2008, Rashad bumped into Sherrie at a local gas station. They spoke briefly about how they were doing, exchanged numbers and promised to keep in touch. Rashad sealed their conversation with a kiss on the cheek. To quote Sherrie "that was all she wrote." From that point on, there was immediate chemistry and they haven't left each others side since!
