Well if I let him tell the story he would say that I walked pass him smiling and waving at him everyday, which by the way is very untrue. So heres the truth. I met Rodney at work. He worked the night shift and I work the day shift. We would pass each other while changing shift. I really never noticed him but obviously he noticed me lol. I was sitting at home one day when I got a message on Facebook from Rodney that stated “ I know we don’t know each other but I would like to get to know you. I work night shift at ZF and I see you every morning on your way in. If it’s possible would you let me take you out to dinner? Of course I said yes and we have been on cloud nine every since.

It was definitely a surprise with the help of my mother Lorenssa Jones and my sisters Najerica Dawkins and Qymesha Jones. Rodney had planned a evening out for us, so I thought. We went to mall on a Thursday so that I could find me an outfit to wear to a restaurant that I had been dying to go to. I was so excited. Friday came and he picked me up from work and took me to the nail salon then home so that I could get dress. Reservation were at 8pm. Im rushing to my makeup done so that we could be on time. 7:15 comes he pulls in the driveway and Im yelling at him because I know we are going to be late. He starts driving, then he stated that he needed to go by my moms house for something and wanted me to get out the car with him. We walk in to the house but nobody is there. I go check the garage and my whole family and our kids were in there with signs saying Will You Marry Me ? Of course I said YES!
