Mountain weather in the fall can be unpredictable - from hot to snow. Snow will be unlikely in early fall but we recommend checking the forecast before coming. Be sure to pack layers as the evenings will be cooler. The ceremony and reception will be an indoor affair with the exception of cocktail hour on the deck.
It is approximately 1.5 hours from Denver to Winter Park without traffic. We recommend checking mountain traffic reports prior to leaving if you plan to drive out the day of the wedding.
There will be areas along I-70 and US-40 that you will have poor to no cell service. Your GPS should continue to work and there is reception in Winter Park.
Winter Park is at 9,121 feet altitude. Some people are prone to altitude sickness at these levels. Drink extra water, eat extra carbs and foods with potassium. Please drink responsibly as well as the body responds to alcohol differently in higher altitudes.
Yes, there is overnight parking at the venue. Please plan to leave your car overnight and pick it up in the morning if you plan to drink. There is an after hour shuttle service that can be reached at 970-726-4163.
