How Should I get to the Venue?

Venue Address Virginia Museum of Fine Arts 200 N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard Richmond, VA 23220-4007 USA Directions: From I-95 or I-64: Take Exit 78 for N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard. Follow N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard (Route 161 South) for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Kensington Avenue (you’ll see the Virginia Historical Society at the corner). Take the first left onto Sheppard Street and continue for half a block. The entrance to the parking deck will be on your left. From the Downtown Expressway (I-195): Take the Floyd-Cary exit. Follow Floyd Avenue east for about five blocks to Belmont Avenue. Turn left on Belmont Avenue, then go three blocks to Stuart Avenue. Turn right on Stuart Avenue and continue one block. The parking deck entrance will be straight ahead. From the Powhite Parkway: Take the Cary Street exit. Head east on Cary Street for five blocks to Belmont Avenue. Turn left on Belmont Avenue and continue five blocks to Stuart Avenue. Turn right on Stuart Avenue and go one block. The parking deck entrance will be directly ahead. Airport Shuttle If you’re flying into Richmond International Airport, a complimentary shuttle is available to the Omni Richmond Hotel.

Parking Information The VMFA parking deck is open daily during museum hours and for special events, including our wedding. - Parking is $6 per day if you arrive before the museum closes at 5:00 PM. - After 5:00 PM, parking is free for all wedding guests. The parking deck can be accessed in two ways: - From the main museum entrance on N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard - From the intersection of Sheppard Street and Stuart Avenue Walkways to the museum are available on every level of the deck. For easier access, use the flat walkway on the middle level, which can be reached by elevator from either the upper or lower levels.

What Time Should I Arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. If you arrive early, our onsite coordinator, Ms. Shana Hill, will guide you to the ceremony area. While you’re welcome to come early, please note that the museum will remain open to the public until 5:00 PM.

The ceremony will be held at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA), Outdoor Belvedere Deck.

When Will we eat?

Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 PM with light passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a plated dinner and cake service. We kindly ask that children 13 and under enjoy the specially prepared children’s meal. If your little one has any dietary restrictions, please let us know —we’re happy to accommodate!

Can I Take Photos?

We’re having an unplugged ceremony. To create a more intimate and meaningful experience, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Don’t worry—our professional photographers will capture every special moment! Feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception, but please be mindful not to block the photographers or step into their path. If you share photos online, don’t forget to use our wedding hashtag!
