Please enjoy the wedding ceremony. There will be plenty of time to take pictures and videos. However, if you catch what you feel is a “good” shot of the bride and groom or wedding party, please don’t post or share as what you feel is a good shot, well…..
If your invite specifically mentions a plus one then you may bring a date/guest as long as they are 15 years old plus. Once you know who your plus one will be, please let me know and I will update your profile with their name.
Although Kenneth and I love children, most people realize that weddings and receptions usually have a cap on the number of guests for various reasons. We want all of our guests to enjoy themselves so we ask that you leave the little ones with a sitter or a family member for just a few hours. Yes, there will be a limited number of younger ones in attendance who may be a part of the wedding in some way.
Yes, dressy!!!!! It’s a semi-formal/formal event. Our theme is Love & Basketball which highlights our lovestory. However, for those interested in our color-scheme as you are thinking about your attire, our main colors will be Navy Blue and Burgundy with a pop of Mauves and Rose Gold. Remember, this is a formal event.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Noone will be permitted to walk down the aisle to be seated after 4:45.
Having you present with us to celebrate our special day is most important. However, if you would like to bless us with a monetary gift, it would be greatly appreciated. You may do so the day of as there will be a designated area for cards or you may explore our website registry which is set up to receive cash donations towards our honeymoon to Jamaica!!
We know they say in some instances, "The more the merrier!". However, our ceremony and reception has a certain head count allotted. So unfortunately, guests are limited to invitees. No worries, There will be plenty of folk to mingle with!!
Pick a seat not a side for the ceremony. However, there are designated seats for certain family members in the first couple of rows. There will be assigned seating at the start of the reception for the serving of your plated meal but after dinner, we would love to see our guests getting acquainted.
