What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal/Cocktail Attire! Ladies, wear cocktail or floor length dresses. Gentlemen should wear a suit or a blazer.

Our ceremony & reception will be held indoors! Our cocktail hour will be held in the hotel lobby & outdoor patio area.

What should I do in between the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Following the ceremony, guests should allow 15-20 minutes to drive to the reception location at Hotel Zero Degrees. The cocktail hour will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm! Guests can use this time to check in, freshen up & enjoy some hors d'oeuvres and drinks in the outdoor patio area. If you feel you have some time to kill, check out our Things To Do tab!

Where should I park?

Answer

Ceremony - Please enjoy free parking behind the Edmond Town Hall (45 Main St, Newtown CT 06470) and walk to the Newtown Meeting House (31 Main St, Newtown CT 06470). Reception - Free Parking at Hotel Zero Degrees.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed!! Please contact Em (203)331-2474 or Matt (978)877-9187 ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:00pm! We recommend that guests arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony to allow time to park and find seating. Check out our things to do tab for guests arriving earlier!

Our reception is RSVP only! We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please contact Em (203)331-2474 for any questions regarding the guest list (:

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, yes & yes! Our cocktail hour will have hors d'oeuvres and drinks for you to enjoy before our serving of dinner at 7pm.

What kind of bar are you having?

Answer

Open Beer, Wine & Champagne bar! The hotel bar will be available to purchase any other alcoholic beverages you may want. Soda, juice and water will also be available in our bar package.

What happens after the reception?

Answer

Guests are welcome to join Matt & Em at the hotel bar for after-party festivities.
