Our love story began over 24years ago spring 2001 Nova Scotia … Sherman travelled from Toronto to Nova Scotia for a short weekend getaway with a few friends where they decided to go to club to hang out where he met Nena a local young lady with a bright smile and a captivated spirit They struck a up conversation effortless then dance the night away,although brief the connection was undeniable… After Sherman return home to Toronto, the couple could not shake the memory Of each other so they decided to start a long distant relationship the late night phone calls and messages into the early hours of the mornings After a while, Nena visited Sherman in Toronto and the time they spent together deepened their bond their love woven into the fabric of everyday moments A few months down the line Nena made the bold decision fuelled with love and a sense of adventure to permanently move Toronto ready to build a life with Sherman … And as their love blossomed they created a home filled with laughter and love and 4 beautiful children Sherman and Nena never tied the knot as they always thought it wasn’t necessary to be married as they felt that their love was demonstrated in every sense of the way navigating life hand-in-hand with shared meals great talks, togetherness and supported of each other through life challenges As the years turned into decades, the children grew up and the couple felt a subtle,shift in their life and now feel to celebrate their love in a more formal way so the thought of marriage started to lingered in their minds despite their deep bond joy of parenting,dreams, hardship, and countless memories the idea of a wedding sound both exciting and foreign to them one evening while sitting outside in their backyard watching the sun go down and Sharing a bottle of wine Nena turned to Sherman and said what do you think about us finally getting married?
