Maid of Honor
Jen is my sister, role model, friend, and now Maid of Honor. Jen and I are 9 years apart in age, but despite this gap, she has always found time to be there for me and vice versa. I admire Jen for her independence, generosity, and sound advice. Jen owned the house that Michael and I lived in before buying our house in Burnsville, some of my favorite memories with my sister stem from flipping that house. She is an incredibly hard worker with many talents. Jen is an avid traveler and has traveled to nearly every national park, she has a traveling van (Vanessa) that she also remodeled. She is incredibly crafty and has taught herself to knit, sew, decorate cakes, and cookies, and has many home improvement skills. Jen has also built a successful career as a project manager for Xcel Energy. Jen has been with her partner, Kyle, for 10 years. We are excited to have both Jen and Kyle with us on our wedding day. Matt is a kind, conistent, and true friend. We have been friends since early middle school. I have always admired Matt's ability to remain optimistic and calm even in tough times. He is just the kind of friend you need to lean on as he reminds you to never take life too seriously. Matt currently works as a Parks and Recreation professional for the City of Bloomington, where he runs the senior center. Matt has been with Sami (bridesmaid) for 6 years - we have loved watching their love grow alongside ours, and are so grateful for the double dates and all the time we get to spend together. We truly love you both and are so glad you both get to be a part of our wedding day! Mike
Amanda Fick

Amanda and I have been friends since the 5th grade. We instantly connected when we were paired up to build a racecar together for a school project, although our heart-shaped car did not win any awards, we won the greatest prize of all - a lifelong friendship. I admire Amanda for many reasons, she is incredibly kind, a dedicated friend, and so much fun to be around. Whenever I am with her I feel like we're back in 5th grade, two giddy girls ready to take on the world. She has three cats, including Kitty-Biddy (who is also my cat, Lily's, sister) and in her free time she enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her friends & family. xoxo, Jess
Julianna Paez

Julianna and I became friends in middle school, throughout this time, Amanda, Julianna, and I became inseparable. I admire Julianna for many reasons, she has always been authentic, daring, and fun. Whenever I am with her, I know that I can truly be myself and that we are going to have such a good time. Julianna currently works as a yoga instructor and an insurance agent. In her free time, Julianna practices yoga, Lyra, enjoys spending time in nature, and painting. She is an incredibly talented artist of many different forms and I am so proud to call her my friend. xoxo, Jess
Emma Schweiger

Emma and I became friends in high school, where we were often mistaken for each other. Our birthdays are two days apart and we often celebrated them together. I am so proud that our friendship has endured multiple moves and life changes. Through it all, Emma has remained a consistent, honest, and true friend. Emma recently graduated with her Master's of Science in Nursing from Columbia University and now works as a telemetry nurse in Denver, CO. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with friends, snowboarding, and hanging out with her spunky orange cat, Marmalade. Mike & I are so glad that Emma is able to be here for our big day! xoxo, Jess

Sami and I became friends about 6 years ago when she began dating our friend Matt. Sami just finished graduate school and received her Master of Science in Food Systems. She is incredibly smart, responsible, and kind. When Sami is not studying, she enjoys spending time with her (slightly crazy) cat, Ramrod, traveling, and spending time with friends. I’ve loved watching Matt & Sami fall in love- they are also the best dancers in our crew. I am so excited to have both of them share our special day with us and I can’t wait to see them on the dance floor! xoxo, Jess

Jacob is FUN. We became friends in middle school and the fun hasn't stopped since. I know I can count on him for a good time, anytime. Jacob currently works as a proud IBEW electrician and recently became a shop steward. In his free time he enjoys concerts, music, and hanging out with friends. I am so thankful to have Jacob be a part of this day and a part of my life. Thanks for always rocking too hard, Jacob - we love you for it. Mike
Sam Bullard

Sam and I have been friends for most of our lives, we met in elementary school and went on to live together throughout college. Sam is incredibly smart and is currently in the process of obtaining his Phd in Early Learning Psychology at the U of M. Academic achievements aside, he is a kind, caring friend who has always been there for both Jess and myself. He makes an excellent pontoon captain - some of our favorite memories with Sam are from trips to his family cabin and Jess's. We are so glad he is a part of our wedding day and look forward to the lifelong friendship ahead. Thanks for being the best bulldog around! Mike

Dave and I have been friends since 2010, when we first met on the Blaine High School swim team. From the start, his humor and overall free-spirited personality made every practice and meet more memorable. Our friendship grew even stronger when we worked together as lifeguards at Bunker Beach, spending many summer days side by side. Over the years, we've shared countless positive memories, from unforgettable concerts to late-night hangouts. Dave's sense of adventure, quick wit, and loyal friendship have always been a meaningful part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful that he’s standing with me on my wedding day. - Mike

Matt is my oldest brother, and someone I’ve looked up to for as long as I can remember. Being eight years older than me, he’s always been a steady example of drive, kindness, and what it means to be a great role model. Matt works as an electrical engineer, but recently took on an even more important role — becoming a dad to my beautiful niece, Eleanor, who has already brought so much joy into all of our lives. I was honored to stand by Matt’s side as a groomsman at his wedding in 2020, and it means the world to have him standing by mine on this special day. Mike
