Our story starts where all love stories start, at an Applebee's in Palestine, Texas. It was after one of my softball games in high school and Walton was working. As usual, I was the last one to arrive and Walt comes by and asks what I'd like to drink. In the moment, I was literally speechless by how cute he was. (I think it was love at first sight). Anyways, didn't think much of it at the time. Prom season comes around and I didn't have a date so why not ask the cute boy I met from Applebee's. He said "Yes", and the rest is history.

Growing up, my family and I always listened to Jason Allen's music. His music helped our family in many situations throughout our lives. On February 5th, 2022 my family and I took Walt to listen to him live for the first time at the Coupland Dance Hall. Little did I know that Walton and my mom had come up with this whole master plan to propose to me. At the end of one of Jason's songs, 'Here's to You', he calls me out of the crowd to come on stage (I thought he was about to say that I was like one of his biggest fans and wanted to thank me or something lol). Nope! As soon as he handed the microphone over to Walt I immediately knew what was happening. He pops the question and this time it was my turn to say "YES!"
