5 years ago our paths crossed and we were introduced. I remember striking up a conversation, making up an excuse. Our interests both peaked but there were lessons left to learn. At a party, from across the room I could feel my heart burn. The way their personality sparkled and the cool way they dressed; will never be forgotten, but we both repressed.
