Per the US Government: "Before boarding a flight to the United States, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel. There is also an option for people who have documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days."

No. Mexican government does not require a negative COVID19 Test.

Where can I get a COVID test?

Answer

There are three options: 1. The hotel contracts out a healthcare company to come perform COVID tests the day before your departure. They will tell you the result and send it via email. Just tell the hotel front desk which day you need a test. 2. There is a clinic next door to the hotel where you can get your COVID test. Results come back in 2-6 hours for travel back to the U.S. 3. You can bring an at home COVID 19 rapid antigen test with you. What are the hotel protocols for COVID?

Answer

Per Hotel El Ganzo Website: Our new check-in procedure is entirely contactless, including luggage sanitization before entering the lobby, shoe disinfection, and plexiglass separators. All employees and vendors undergo a temperature check and disinfection procedure prior to entering our facilities. Sanitizer stations are posted throughout the hotel and restaurants. Guest rooms are strategically assigned to aid in social distancing. A 24-hour interval between room assignments is being implemented for our in-room refined sanitization process. Employees are following high-level infection control protocol in our laundry facilities. We are performing a deep clean of our facilities every 4 hours. We are strictly enforcing food preparation protocols, and all of our menus are now accessible via QR code. All of our employees are equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to allow for modified wellbeing checks and room service.
