Our love story began in South Austin on December 15, 2018, just a stone’s throw from where we will gather to begin our next and biggest chapter. What began as a spark on our first date deepened over time, reflected in our desire to spend our days and nights together, learning from one another, growing alongside each other, and finding joy in the ordinary moments that became extraordinary. We believe love is built not only in the grand moments but also in the countless small ones, from morning laughter over coffee, to roadtrip karaoke, to smiles that last long after the night ends. We recognize that the memories we have made in Austin and across the world shine brighter because of the people who have shared them with us. From late night concerts to hiking through national parks, from seedy dive bars to world renowned restaurants, from the desert to the sea and everything in between, each experience has taught us that joy is multiplied when it is shared. We are elated that this shared journey has brought us to the greatest and most meaningful decision of all, a commitment to spend this one precious life walking side by side. Renewing a living promise each day through the ways we care for, challenge, and inspire one another. This spring, we will gather on the magical property that Ben’s parents call home, transforming it into a place where past, present, and future meet. Under the shade of sprawling oak trees and among spring wildflowers, we will celebrate love and family with a night filled with music, dancing, and delicious food.
