Shuttle

Wedding Shuttle To/From Venue

September 16, 2019 12:15 pm - 2:00 pm

Parking at the top of the mountain is limited, so we will have two shuttles bringing guests from the base of the mountain to the venue. Please take these shuttles and do not park at the venue. The shuttles will be making loops periodically throughout the night if you want to leave the party early and also at the end of the night to get everyone down the mountain. Please catch a shuttle to the venue between 12:15pm - 2pm to ensure you get to the top of the mountain before the ceremony begins. The shuttles will be at the pick up/drop off points roughly every 25 min. A cash bar will be open prior to the ceremony, so feel free to get a drink and hang out when you get to the top! Copy & paste the link below for the locations and descriptions of where you can catch the shuttles: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vG4TZ3sVglwZ7rwNQD7jw4gUvtMEX0zO&usp=sharing Copy & paste this link below for the CB free town bus schedules & stops: http://www.mtnexp.org/schedules-routes/spring-fall/

Travel Note

DRIVING TO & IN CRESTED BUTTE

Driving from your location to Crested Butte is probably the most economical way to travel depending on where you are coming from and how much time you have. Once you reach Denver, Crested Butte is around 4.5 hours southwest. It is a gorgeous drive through the Rocky Mountains that you won't regret! GETTING AROUND CRESTED BUTTE If you are staying in town or at one of the resort hotels, there is a free shuttle that goes throughout the day shuttling people from the resort hotels to the downtown area of Crested Butte. The downtown area is rather small, and is definitely walkable. Otherwise it is a short five min. drive from the hotels to the downtown, and parking in and around the downtown is free. We will also have a couple shuttles for the wedding day that can take you from the base of the mountain & from town to the ceremony & reception site at the top of the mountain. The shuttles will be circulating throughout night & will be taking people back down the mountain at the party's end.

Flight

FLYING INTO DENVER OR GUNNISON

FLYING INTO DENVER Flying into Denver International Airport (DEN) and renting a car to drive the 4.5 hours southwest to Crested Butte is probably the next most economical way to get to Crested Butte. The drive is stunning & 4.5 hours goes quickly when you're surrounded by Rocky Mountain autumn colors, peaks and valleys! FLYING INTO GUNNISON If you don't mind spending a bit more, one option is to fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) and get a regional flight to the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC). You cannot fly directly into GUC. You must first fly to Denver in order to get to GUC and there is only one flight per day from Denver during September. The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is about 35 minutes from the town of Crested Butte. From there you can rent a car and head up to Crested Butte.
