She was looking for a partner that can match her energy and vibe. He was looking for someone that could calm his restless soul. They both joined Coffee meets Bagel in December of 2018 and were matched in January of 2019. He quickly charmed his way into her heart and they then understood why they matched. She became his inspiration, his motivation the reason he moves with no hesitation. He became her source of constant laughter and spontaneity. Together they have made the memories of a lifetime, challenging each other along the way.

The ring was long purchased but a global pandemic stood in the way of a preplanned Disney proposal. Knowing he couldn't wait much longer Kamar chose a quiet night at home with their doggie, Riley to propose. Kamar wanted the ambience to be perfect this special moment. Candle light swayed to the sound of Dan + Shay's "speechless " playing in the background. Unbeknownst to Shercka this day would be the start of the Brown Legacy. Shercka snuggled on the couch under the warmth of her heated blanket while Riley neslteled on her lap. Kamar got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to spend the rest of their days together. Overjoyed, Sherecka said yes! The amazing possibilities of how their life would be was all they could they could talk about until the early morning. Wanting to bask in their love a little while longer, they waited to share the wonderful news of thier engagement with close family and friends the next day.
