By God’s grace, our paths crossed more than once before the timing was finally right. We first met virtually and even talked on the phone, but the connection just didn’t land. Some time later, we matched again on a dating app… and once again, it seemed like the timing wasn’t quite there. Looking back, it’s clear God was writing a story that simply wasn’t ready to begin yet. About a year and a half later, after God had been doing meaningful work in both of our lives, we found our way back to each other—and this time everything felt different. Peaceful. Right. Meant to be. On our first date, we sat down together and read 1 Corinthians chapters 1-14, grounding our relationship from the very beginning in the kind of love God calls us to live out. From that moment on, what began as a simple spark quickly grew into something deeper. Through laughter, prayer, long conversations, and learning to trust one another, we discovered not just romance but true partnership—a friendship rooted in faith and strengthened by God’s guidance. What we’ve found in each other is a love that restores, encourages, and points us closer to Christ. We are grateful for the journey that brought us here and for the many ways God has been faithful along the way. Now we look forward to building a life together filled with faith, family, laughter, and purpose. We are so thankful to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who have loved, supported, and prayed for us.
