In light of the Coronavirus, we will be moving forward with the wedding as of this point. The wedding venue is outdoors and we will be giving out masks to those who need it. We will be doing what we can to space out the tables and chairs. Masks will be mandatory while getting food or drinks. We will also follow whatever mandates the state and city observe at the time. We will also be taking temperatures at the entry. If you are unable to attend, please let us know on the RSVP page. Stay safe and take care of yourselves. 💕 Note from the catering company: "We will be serving the buffet from the buffet line but we will be making the plater for your guests.  Your guests will walk thru the line and tell our staff what they would like.  Our staff will be wearing masks and gloves through out the entire event we will also have food shields in front of the buffet and at the bar to provide an extra layer of protection."

When should I RSVP by?

Early August would be ideal. End of August at the latest.

Location Reminder - Beach House, not Lodge

Answer

Not a question, but I want to remind everyone that it is at the Beach House, and not the Lodge. there will likely be another wedding happening at the Lodge and we don't want to interrupt them. The lodge is the first main building you will see. keep driving past it to the left. The next building you see on your right should be the beach house. there are signs that say which building it is and in which direction.

Can I bring a date?

Unless it is on your invite to bring your significant other, we'd ask that you please don't bring a plus 1 or children. Our budget and space has us limited. We've only invited plus ones who we know personally and would like to keep it kid free so everyone (including the parents) can enjoy themselves.

We'd ask that you please don't bring children. Our budget and space has us limited. Would like to keep it kid free so everyone (including the parents) can enjoy themselves. The only exception would be breastfeeding parents.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! It will only be serving beer, wine, soda pop, and water. But you are more than welcome to bring your own liquor if that's your preference!

Can I take photos?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We start at 4:30pm so 4:15pm at the latest would be ideal.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any food allergies on the RSVP. If you forgot, please email us instead of messaging or texting so it's with all of our wedding stuff and we don't forget. ShepardWedding2020@gmaill.com

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a lot right across the street from "The Beach House" where both the ceremony and reception are happening.

Is there transportation to and from the Reception?

Answer

Nope! The Wedding Ceremony is at the same place. For the end of the night, please have a DD please or get a Lyft or Uber if you'll be drinking.

The wedding is outside. Will we be on grass?

Answer

No, it's all cemented except for those participating in photos. That will be on grass. Heels are not recommended.
