Casual Attire: From sundresses and sneakers to jeans and tees. If you want to play games, remember to wear comfortable shoes.
Everyone is invited to a welcome party at our neighborhood clubhouse the Friday before the big day. Dinner will start at 5:30 pm. We know folks will be traveling in on Friday, so just know that whenever you arrive, we'll feed you! A parking lot is available and if the spaces fill, please park on the side of the street closest to the clubhouse. We aren’t allowed to park on both sides of the street. There will be a basketball court, tennis courts and a playground during the party so bring your A-game!

Wedding

Formal: Think fall colors, suits, long cocktail dresses or anything you feel your authentic self in. The bridesmaids will be in emerald green dresses and the groomsmen will be in black tuxes.
The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm and will be held at Kimball Hall. Cocktail hour will include some light bites in addition to drinks. Dinner will be served around 7:00 pm.
After Party

Gate City Brewing Company has live music every Saturday night until midnight. It's a 2 minute walk from the wedding venue, so folks can leave their cars parked and just head over.

Sunday Swing

Casual: Jeans and a nice shirt (t-shirt or dress shirt) with comfortable shoes ideally with a non-stick or leather sole.
For those not leaving Sunday, you are invited to join in on some local fun at the America Legion Post with Tom Heindl! America Legion Post 201 has a park setting, parking, a full-service bar, and a dance hall with stage area. https://legion201.org/ For those who may not know, Tom is an avid West Coast Swing dancer and the America Legion Post 201 hosts one of the best events in the Atlanta area. People travel from across town and often from surrounding states just to attend this event each week! Sunday, October 6, 2024 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Outdoor picnic at the American Legion picnic tables, hosted by Tom. 5:00 – 6:00 pm: Private family lesson by instructors. 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm: Swing dance lessons, beginner, levels 1 and II “Introduction to West Coast Swing”. 6:45 pm – 7:30 pm: Swing dance lessons, beginner, levels III and IV “Intermediate”. 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm: Open dance with some of the area’s best swing music DJs. Cost for dance, including lesson, is $12 per person.
